COVID19 UPDATE 4/19/2021

Another addition has come and gone sad to say. On the bright side, there is some racing and events going on this year and we look forward to seeing you all in 2022. Thanks for your support and well wishes over the last year.

See you soon for a return of the midwest spring classic!

COVID19 UPDATE 5/19/2020

We've appreciated your patience during this extremely difficult time as we were implementing the plan to close out the 2020 event.  With the new restrictions implemented by Illinois, there is simply no way we can run the Rough Road100 in 2020.  Even at this time, we question if the 2021 April date will be a possibility.  Because of these uncertainties we are offering the following options for 2020 registration.

First, for those that wish to have their registration moved over to a virtual ride, you do not need to do anything.  We will move everyone over and you will receive an email on June 6th outlining how you can ride any course of your registered distance and submit your time for a virtual result.  We will allow for times to be submitted between June 6th and June 14th.  If you choose to go this route, we want to extend our sincere gratitude for helping us keep the RoughRoad100 dream alive!  We hope to be back next year bigger and better!

Second, for those of you wishing to receive a refund for the 2020 event, you can log into your RunSignUp account and submit your refund request.  All refunds will be offered minus a $25 fee due to the expenses of planning the RR100 not once,  but twice for 2020.  Any profit that is left over will be donated to We Care of Grundy County to go along with the large donation that we have already given them.  Every year we match the funds that the racers give and we again have already done this as We Care truly needs the support during the time.  All refunds MUST be submitted prior to May 30th.  No refunds will be extended after the May 30th date.

Please note that any previous deferrals are being cleared out and we are not able to defer to next year.  If you deferred and wish to get a refund instead then please follow the instructions above otherwise you will be moved into the Virtual Event.

This has been a terrible time for racers and for races and we, again, appreciate your support of the RoughRoad100.

Sincerely,

Craig Patnode & Brian Bangma
